Spurs' French international goalkeeper Lloris, 28, has been linked with a move to Manchester City amid rumours that he could be set to leave north London. Lloris is contracted to the London club until 2021, and Tottenham are believed to be willing to let him leave on a free transfer. At the start of the transfer window, Lloris suggested he was ready to stay at Tottenham for another two years, but he would be open to a move if the club asked him to leave. The goalkeeper added that he does not want to leave Tottenham, but if he does, he will still be able to play at the club. While there were plenty of rumours about Lloris' possible exit, Trippier insisted there was no truth to the story, and he said the goalkeeper would remain at the club. "I've never heard any of that [the rumours]," Trippier said. "I'm sure it's going to be the exact opposite of what you're hearing. "He's a captain, he's a leader in the dressing room and we're sure he'll be here for a long time." The 30-year-old has started Spurs' last five matches, and he has impressed fans with some spectacular saves, including an outstanding reflex block to deny United striker Romelu Lukaku. "I think he's done amazing," Trippier added. "For us to have a goalkeeper like him in the team is a massive bonus. "We've been doing okay in games, and I think he's got three or be359ba680
